Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which members and participants may cancel their membership, programme registration, or event booking with Persatuan Kemajuan STEM & Inovasi Kelantan ("PaKSI Kelantan").

Cancellations made within 14 calendar days of payment are eligible for a full refund. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on how refunds are processed.

1. Membership Cancellation

Members may cancel their membership at any time by submitting a written request to PaKSI Kelantan. The following conditions apply:

  • Within 14 days of payment: Full refund of both registration fee and annual fee will be issued, provided the member has not commenced participation in any members-only programme.
  • After 14 days: Membership fees are non-refundable. The membership will remain active until the end of the current membership year.
  • Upon cancellation, the member will no longer have access to member benefits, activities, or resources.
  • Membership data will be retained for administrative and legal compliance purposes.

2. Programme & Event Registration Cancellation

For paid programmes, workshops, or events organised by PaKSI Kelantan:

  • Cancellation 7 or more days before the event: Full refund of the programme fee.
  • Cancellation 3–6 days before the event: 50% refund of the programme fee.
  • Cancellation less than 3 days before the event or no-show: No refund will be given.
  • Cancellations must be communicated to us in writing via email.

3. PaKSI Kelantan's Right to Cancel

PaKSI Kelantan reserves the right to cancel or postpone any programme, event, or activity due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Insufficient participant registration
  • Natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government directives
  • Venue unavailability or technical failures

In such cases, registered participants will be notified as early as possible and offered either a full refund or an alternative date/programme at their choosing.

4. How to Submit a Cancellation Request

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

Please include your full name, IC number, the item you are cancelling (membership or event name), date of payment, and transaction reference number.
